My name is Katia Garcia and I couldn't be more excited to be the your

 Nuestra Belleza Nevada Ms 2016.

I was born in Inglewood, California but was raised in Las Vegas! 

I am a working mom like so many women out there striving to provide a better future for my son Joyser who is 2 years old. I am very passionate about criminal justice and that is why I am soon pursing my dream job which would be a police officer!

My hobbies include staying active by going to Taekwondo practice which I love! Im currently an orange belt but plan to reach my black belt, tkd has always been my main focus but I have played soccer in high school, also flag football!

I want to be able to help my community out and use my career  to be an inspiration to other young Latinas who are single mothers like myself.
